Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, there may be some limitations. We are actively working to address the following known issues:
- Third-party embeds: Some embedded content from third-party services may not be fully accessible. We are working with providers to improve this.
- User-generated content: Content posted by users may not always meet accessibility standards. We provide guidance to users on creating accessible content.
- PDF documents: Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to remediate these documents.
- Complex data visualizations: Some charts and graphs may be challenging for screen reader users. We provide alternative text descriptions and data tables where possible.
Testing and Evaluation
We regularly test our platform using:
- Automated testing: axe DevTools, WAVE, Lighthouse, Pa11y
- Manual testing: Keyboard navigation, screen reader testing, color contrast analysis
